This following statement was taken from an article written on 02-18-03 by journalist Eric Gillin in an interview with The Church of Satan. Peter H. Gilmore, high priest in the Church of Satan, states...
“America is absolutely a Satanic nation, by our definition. Iraq is yet another spiritually oriented nation that is ruled by a despot — business-as-usual considering the history of the governments on this world. We see the U.S. as being very unique in history, the world's first Satanic republic, and so it is important to many Satanists.”
It is interesting that the Satanists would declare America as an "absolutely Satanic nation." Is America a Satanic nation? What is even more disturbing is why they consider America a Satanic nation. Eric Gillin makes the following statement:
“What they [Satanists] essentially believe, is that life should be lived in the pursuit of pleasures, and we only get one chance to do it. Sounds like America to us.”
So the Satanists equate freedom with Satanism. They define Satanism as "freedom from God's Word (God's Laws)." Satanists say, "Hey, in America we can legally do our own thing." They define Satanism as "the pursuit of pleasures." Satanists cherish the fact that they can be degenerates in America: murder children through abortion; publish a porno magazine; make and sell beer to kill more people; defraud people out of their money with a gambling casino; be a Sodomite with pride, even adopt children into your Sodomite relationship; strip naked and get in bed on camera for all to see in Hollyweird; start a psychic TV scam like Miss Cleo, make hundreds of millions before the law stops you; sell body parts from aborted children to make money; start a Satanic church; burn the American flag; urinate in a bottle with Jesus on a cross inside it and call it art; etc. "Hey, In America, you can be a low-life if you want." It is sad that so many people take the God-given freedoms which we have and use it to violate God's Word by committing sin. God did not give us our freedom so we could go into sin. God warned Israel concerning this...
"Then beware lest thou forget the LORD, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name. Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you; (For the LORD thy God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth." —(Deuteronomy 6:12-15)Living in sin is not acceptable with God, whether in a free country or a communist country. Is America a Satanic nation? It is only to those who spit in God's face and live for the pleasures of sin. Be warned, the pleasures of sin only last for a season! America still has many Christ-loving, soul-winning, Bible-preaching, sin-hating, and people-caring Christians. Unfortunately, America is filled with multitudes of the ungodly who shame this great nation and make America a cesspool of iniquity, a stench to the nostrils of the rest of the world. There is a great battle going on in America: The just against the wicked, and the wicked against the just."And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow,
making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;" —(2nd Peter 2:6)

America is in the greatest battle since it's beginning in 1776. Our greatest worry is not the Chinese Communist's. It is not the Russian government. It is not Iraq or North Korea. Our greatest threat is not Global Warning or an asteroid from outer-space. Our greatest threat is ourselves. America needs to repent!!! The people of this great nation need the gospel of Jesus Christ. If America continues on it's present course, we will destroy ourselves because a house divided cannot stand. We need to get right with God!
If Abraham came to America today, would he find enough righteous people to prevent God from destroying our nation? I think not.Albeit, thank God for those born-again believers who live for the Lord, those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, those who love their neighbors as their own self, those who have sought the kingdom of God first, those who trust upon the Lord Jesus Christ—our Great God and Savior!
Psalm 94:16"Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?" —
America is in the mess it is in today because of indifference and apathy on the part of people (especially Christians). If God's children don't take a stand for what is right, who will?
As American citizens, we need to speak up against sin and corruption. Unfortunately, it appears to be too late. America is headed over a moral waterfall and ultimate destruction. Look at the Enron scandals and how millions of Americans suffered for it.Where did that $59 billion of tax-payer money disappear to from the HUD program? Why did Clinton pardon the king-pin already convicted in the scandal?
Congresswoman Maxine Waters and Cynthia McKinney have addressed the issue of illegal drugs being smuggled into our country by our own government. Why is this allowed to continue? Millions of Americans are behind bars for drug-offenses? Families are being destroyed all across this nation. What is the government hiding from us?America a Satanic nation? It appears to be so in more ways than we can imagine. Why is Social Security in the red for seven trillion dollars? Why have over one dozen government departments NOT been audited for several years (some more than a decade, such as the Federal Reserve)? Where is the money going? It's our taxpayer money, we have a right to know. OUR leaders do what they do in OUR name, with OUR money, with OUR children in the military, so its very much OUR business!
America is headed for destruction if we don't repent of our Godless ways. Being a free nation does not give us the freedom to break God's laws. Over 16,000 people a year are killed by alcohol-related accidents (1,400 are college students). Certain legal drugs have been pulled from the market after only a handful of deaths. Why is liquor legal? Because of the hardness of our hearts! Why are there so many divorces? Because of the hardness of our hearts! Why are there so many abortions? Because of the hardness of our hearts!Listen friend, God loves people! I do not write these articles to be unkind to anyone, but rather to proclaim the truth of God's Word. On the main page of the Church of Satan, they say “We're looking for a few outstanding individuals...” Well...
God is looking for “a few outstanding individuals!”

Who will stand in the gap? Who will stand in the gap in prayer before God in heaven? Where are the righteous? Is it nothing to you?
