Jesus had come to the country of the Gergesenes (Matthew 8:28). It wasn't long before they asked Jesus to leave town. They said, "You're not welcome here Jesus ... go away!" Can you imagine anyone telling Jesus to go away? We read in John 1:10-11, "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not." What a startling Scripture passage. How sad and tragic that people would reject their own Creator.“And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.” —Matthew 8:34
Even more tragic is that God's own people, the Jews, would reject their own
Messiah. Things haven't changed a bit since Jesus' time. The sinful world
rejects Christ today, just as they did back in Bible times. And the majority
of Jews today are as arrogant and stubborn as they were during Jesus' time
on earth. I say this not to be unkind; but to be honest. Most people today
don't want Jesus in their life.
So many people today are offended by Jesus Christ, just as they were back in New Testament times. Jesus own neighbors and townspeople were offended at Him, "And he went out from thence, and came into his own country ... And they were offended at him" (Mark 6:1,3). No wonder Jesus said in Luke 7:23 ... "And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me." Are you offended by Jesus Christ? Before you answer, please understand that Jesus and the Word of God are inseparable, because they are One.
In Revelation 19:13 we read, "And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God." In John 1:1,14 we read, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ... And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."Jesus Christ is the written Word of God personified. Jesus is the living
Word of God. Hence, if the Word of God OFFENDS you, then you are offended at
Jesus. If the Bible's condemnation of homosexuality, feminism, abortion,
gambling, fornication, booze, covetousness, witchcraft, pornography,
adultery, and false religion offends you--then you are OFFENDED at Jesus,
because He is the Divine Author of the Bible!
In the Engel vs. Vitale case (1962), the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-1 against New York's "Regents' prayer," a "non-denominational" prayer which state education officials had composed for public schoolchildren to recite.
The government-sponsored religious devotion was challenged in court by a group of parents from New Hyde Park (some atheists, some believers). O'Hair was not involved in the case at all.One year later, a case originated by a Philadelphia-area man named Ed Schempp challenging mandatory Bible reading in Pennsylvania schools reached the Supreme Court. At the same time, Murray O'Hair was challenging a similar practice as well as the recitation of the Lord's Prayer in Maryland public schools. The Supreme Court consolidated the cases and in 1963 ruled 8-1 that devotional Bible reading or other government-sponsored religious activities in public schools are unconstitutional.
Truly, these were two of the saddest days in America's history for God and His people.The graphs below are NOT opinions. They are fact! Please pay careful attention to the year 1962. This is the year of The Supreme Court Ruling in the case of ENGEL v. VITALE. The year that prayer was removed from our schools, the Bible in 1963. The year that our tax dollars began paying for the brainwashing of our children.
No Room for Jesus
There was no room for Jesus in the inn. As He grew older, there was no room for Jesus in His own family. He was rejected by His own family. He went into the temple and there was no room in the temple. He went back to His own town, and they rejected Him... "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary... And they were offended at him" (Mark 6:3). And when He died, there was no room in the city to bury Him. He died outside the city. Isaiah 53:3, "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not."
Just as when Jesus Christ walked this earth 2,000 years ago, there is NO room in this sinful world for Him today. Jesus Christ is mocked, ridiculed, blasphemed, and cursed by Hollywood, Walt Disney, Broadway, MTV, CMT, CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, and all the other hordes of hell-spawned media and entertainment outlets. Truly Satan is the god of this sin-cursed world (2nd Corinthians 4:4). Jesus is rejected by the abortion industry.Jesus is rejected by the booze industry. Jesus is rejected by the gambling
industry. Jesus is rejected by the Christian Rock music industry. Jesus is
rejected by The Supreme Court. Jesus is rejected by the homosexual movement.
Jesus is rejected by the feminist movement. There is no room for Jesus in
this sinful world, accept in the hearts of the righteous--those who have
been made righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ (1st Peter 1:18,19), apart
from all good works and sacraments (Romans 4:5).

A military jury today convicted a Navy chaplain of a misdemeanor count of disobeying his commanding officer for wearing his uniform while delivering a prayer "in Jesus' name" at an assembly in front of the White House.
"But I had prior written permission to wear my uniform if it was a religious observance, (so) prayers are not a religious observance," Lt. Gordon James Klingenschmitt told WND after the military court-martial recessed for the night.
"Therefore I disobeyed my commanding officer's order not to pray in uniform," he said.Klingenschmitt, who raised immediate concerns with this superiors when the
Navy issued a new order that prayers could only be "nonsectarian," also has
alleged he was punished for raising those concerns, and later notifying
Congress and President Bush of the situation. -SOURCE

Therefore, the NIV goes into my garbage pail!There are going to be many
sorrowful ministers in Heaven because they promoted the NIV bible. It should
be called the "HIV" bible. I can picture a neo-evangelical minister now,
standing before Christ. I can hear Jesus asking that man ... "Didn't you
know that the Satanic NIV removes My name (Jesus, the name which is above
every other name) from 38 scriptures?" "No I didn't," replies the minister.
Jesus asks again, "Did you know that the NIV removes 65,000 words from My Word?" Stunned, the minister listens to the Words of his Maker. Jesus asks again, "Did you know that the NIV removes the word 'sodomite' completely because there were two sodomites on the review committee for the NIV?" "Did you know that the same parent company (Harper Collins) which publishes the NIV also publishes The Satanic Bible?" In disbelief the minister's tears continue to fall. "What have I done," the minister asks himself.
Jesus goes on to say, "That wretched and blasphemous NIV which diminishes My deity and blinds men's eyes to the truth makes me angry." Jesus continues, "Did you know that Philippians 2:6 in the NIV says that I am NOT equal to God? I am God Almighty you know." The minister now realizes that he had never cared enough about THE TRUTH to really look into the matter. He knew that all of his dead-beat ministerial buddies and supporters were all against the idea that the King James Bible was the ONLY reliable Bible in English. He had been a coward, afraid to go against the grain (the herd-mentality). If he had spoken evil against the NIV, surely he would have lost much support and friends. The truth is never popular! He had sincerely thought he was doing the right thing; but he instead led many people away from God through the NIV.
The NIV committee didn't want Jesus in their "new" bible, so they struck out
His name in 38 places. They also changed every reference to someone
"worshipping" Jesus into a mere "knelt." They also decided that Jesus is no
longer the only begotten Son of God, so they removed the world "begotten"
from John 3:16. Blasphemy!
The Imminent Doom of the Wicked
"And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. And they went out, and preached that men should repent" (Mark 6:10-12). Sodom and Gomorrah were utterly destroyed with fire and molten rock (lava) from the sky. These cities are today located underneath the DEAD SEA. It is called the "Dead Sea" because of the extremely high salt content of the water, so high that little life is found there.
This is also the lowest point below sea level on earth. The only thing which could be worse than being burned alive with molten rock is being cast into the Lake of Fire to burn in torment forever. "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ" (2nd Thessalonians 1:8). Oh how foolish are unbelievers who refuse to come to their loving Savior for salvation. Salvation is completely FREE to us, paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ.
Will you also tell Jesus to depart, or will you receive Him... "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." Salvation is found only in Jesus Christ, not in religion or the will of man. Only God can forgive sin and redeem a sinful soul.
Will you send Jesus away too, or will you receive Him?
