It's psychic mania! Never before have there been so many psychics, crawling out of the sewer, seducing the masses and getting filthy rich. As we read in the above Scripture, God forbids anyone from regarding them which have a "familiar sprit" (i.e., those who are familiar with demonic spirits).
One after another, it seems that every month we are hearing about a new "psychic" (also called a "medium") who claims to have connections with THE OTHER SIDE.
The Word of God teaches that every human spirit RETURNS to God when the body dies, "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it" (Ecclesiastes 12:7).
In God's hands, that spirit will either be carried to Heaven by angels, or sent to Hell to suffer torment (Luke 16:22,23).
Although hard to grasp, since God is often only viewed as a loving God, the Bible clearly teaches that God will take VENGEANCE upon those who die in their sins, having not obeyed the Gospel of Jesus Christ, "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord..." (2nd Thessalonians 1:8,9).
It is clear from the Bible that the spirits of the dead cannot return to speak with us, nor send messages through psychic mediums.
Psychics are of the Devil, who become willing channels of Satan's power. There's is no doubt that some psychics are real, and do indeed posses Satanic power. It has been documented that some psychics have helped criminal investigators in missing persons cases.
It is also true that many psychics have made complete fools of themselves, like when Sylvia Browne stated in January of 2006 that the trapped West Virginia miners were alive; BUT, as it later turned out, they were all dead, but one. Gotcha!
People
are so woefully ignorant of the Scriptures that they've even begun to believe
that their pets have psychic powers, and that some animals communicate through
a form of ESP. The Word of God is clear that only mankind has a spirit. Animals have souls, as far as a heart, mind and will; BUT, they cannot receive
Christ as Saviour, and do not have spirits.
The soul is one's ability to think (mind), feel (heart), and make decisions (will). The spirit is that which separates humans beings from the animal world. Animals do not have a conscience, a moral compass to guide them.
When the Bible speaks in Jeremiah 17:9 about the deceitful and wicked "heart" of man, it is speaking of man's sinful spirit, his sin nature... "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" The heart is man's sub-consciousness, who he or she really is. At best, we are all horrible sinners (Isaiah 64:6; Romans 3:10,23; 6:23; 1st John 1:8,10).
This is why we all need a Saviour, to forgive our sins. Thankfully, Jesus Christ shed His blood to pay for all our sins. This is why eternal life is a free gift (Romans 5:15; 6:23). All we have to do to be saved is to believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour ... "Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved..." (Acts 16:30,31). You'll never hear that from a psychic, because they are Satanic.
"For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed. For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD." —Jeremiah 29:8
Now we even see such blasphemies as "Psychic Gifts in the Christian Life." God's Holy Spirit is not a power which can be channeled, manipulated, or turned on and off like a water-faucet.
Carefully notice the alleged "Christian" magazine cover above, and the occult language: "Tools To Connect," "Our God Spots," "Finding Missing Persons," "Games To Access Sensitivities," "Channeling Holy Spirit." It's all demonic! To the unsuspecting victim, who is not knowledgeable concerning the truth of the Word of God, this may well appear as a Christian publication; BUT, it certainly is not!
Millions of people today are falling victim to these New Age Satanists, who claim to have powers from God; BUT, their power (if any) is directly from Satan. The Holy Spirit is not for sale, as Simon, the former sorcerer, found out In Acts 8:19,20 ... "Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.
But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money."
How dare these psychics make tens-of-millions of dollars selling books, holding seminars, selling psychic readings, while exploiting the name of Christianity for their own personal gain. Satan is a master deceiver, and he is subtly at work in all of today's psychics. Don't let their Christian appearance fool you, they are whited sepulchres filled with dead men's bones. Psychics are an abomination unto God, and will lead you into Hell! They speak lies in the name of truth. They offer demonism in the name of spirituality. BEWARE OF PSYCHIC!!!

It is clear from the above
Bible verse, that those with Satanic familiar spirits come to us in the name
of God. This is not surprising because the Bible told us that Satan
would come to us as an "angel of light" (2nd Corinthians 11:14). God
says that when mediums try to seduce us to connect with the dead (necromancy),
we should not regard them.
It is a horrible sin to seek the advice of a psychic, or any occult practitioner. Psalm 1:1,2 gives us some great advice, "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly... but his delight is in the law of the Lord."
No information is permissible, which causes us to disobey God by regarding the Satanic power of one who has a familiar spirit. We mustn't place any trust, regard, or weight upon their Satanic works of darkness. Tragically, many fools are regarding them, and the psychics are getting filthy rich.
Instead, we need to trust in God, "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths" -Proverbs 3:5,6.
