IF MY PEOPLE

IF MY PEOPLE
By Marvin Mulder

IF MY PEOPLE, WHICH ARE CALLED BY MY NAME,
SHALL HUMBLE THEM SELVES, AND PRAY, AND SEEK MY FACE,
AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS;
THEN I WILL HEAR FROM HEAVEN,
AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN,
AND WILL HEAL THEIR LAND.
II Chronicles 7:14 kjv

In December, I sent out a letter about the meanings behind our Christmas traditions. Most of the information came from a video "America's Occult Holidays" by Doc Marquis. The first part of this Easter information comes from there also.

One of the occult origins of Easter traditions is that Semiramis, the wife of Nimrod came down from heaven in a giant colored egg in a wicker basket. When someone found the egg, Semiramis broke out of it, and blessed the one who found it. Along with that was the ceremony to welcome back the spring goddess. For this ceremony, the priests had new white robes, and the priestesses wore bonnets. This is why we have new suits and Easter bonnets. After the ceremony they all hunted for the egg-- the one finding it getting a special blessing.

In Ezekiel 8:14, God shows Ezekiel a vision of women weeping for Tammuz. Tammuz, the son of Semiramis and Nimrod (great grandson of Noah) was killed by a wild boar when he was 40 years old. Women wept and fasted for him for 40 days commemorating his 40 years of life. Today we call this Lent. The traditional Easter ham is symbolic of revenge against the boar by killing and eating it.

[ Editor: Blessed Quietness Journal-- This shows how the ancient stories evolved and gathered all sorts of tricks and altered old ones. The account of Christmass, which we give elsewhere, has other variations on this theme. This does not mean someone is necessarily in error. It simply means that variations from one era are gleaned from other cultures.

An example would be Sumer, which was the empire which followed the Tower of Babel. The Sumerians were masters of diplomacy. When they conquered a nation, they would bring that nation's god to Nippor, and they would add the god, or even several gods, to the Sumerian god collection. The conquered nation would then feel some consolation because their god was not cast aside in the conquest. This went on for 1500 years of Sumer's dominance in Ur, Babylon, and Nippor. Even the Assyrians were fearful of the gods and priests of Sumer, and Assyria had NEVER shown fear of anyone's gods until they conquered Sumer.

So, the collection of religious myths and legends abounded, and the original story was embellished. However; seldom did any religious tradition of any force fall along the wayside. This is why Easter and Christ-mass have so many variations in the "Holiday / Holy Day" activities practiced even to this day. Satan hates the incarnation of Jesus Christ (Christ-mass) and the death and resurrection (Easter) of Jesus Christ. He thus has sought to paganize them beyond all possible recognition. Old Mother Whore of Rome has obliged magnificently. I join brother Mulder in asking you if you intend to continue helping Old Mother Whore paganize the precious truths of Jesus Christ? ]

What does a rabbit have to do with the resurrection of Jesus? The rabbit is a fertility symbol since it is one of the fastest reproducing animals. This symbolism points back to the fertility goddess. According to Doc Marquis, people in any occult bookstore will agree with this-- particularly if you show a little bit of interest. The rabbit idea is thousands of years old, and we have just "Christianized" it, and brought it into the church [ or at least the Christian home ].

Looking at some different aspects of Easter (from several different sources); where does the name Easter come from? The fertility goddess Ishtar, also known as Isis, comes from Assyria, and can be traced under different names back to Babylon. The name Ishtar is pronounced almost identical to the way we say Easter.

We are clearly told to celebrate and remember Jesus' death, both in the Old Testament Passover, and the New Testament Lord's Supper. Nowhere in the Bible are we told to celebrate Jesus' resurrection.

In Matthew 12:40, when asked for a sign of who He was, Jesus replied, "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." So, where do we come up with the Good Friday-- Easter tradition? [ And where do we get Maundy Thursday?] The best we could come up with would be two nights and parts of three days.

In John 20:1 Mary Magdalene had come to the tomb "early, when it was yet dark," and the stone had already been removed from the tomb! Therefore, the resurrection took place before sunrise on Sunday. That means at best parts of two days and parts of two nights. If that is true, did Jesus tell a lie?

Hebrew scholars admit that in the book of Jonah, the phrase "three days and three nights" indicates a period of 72 hours, no more, no less. This means that the same must be true of Jesus. He must have been in the tomb exactly 72 hours or prophecy is not being fulfilled.

Mark 8:31 says Jesus would "be killed, and after three days rise again." See also Mark 9:31, Matthew 27:63 and John 2:19-21.

John 19:31 says this about the following Sabbath day, "for that Sabbath day was an High day." This means a special Sabbath, one of the feast days, not the regular seventh day Sabbath.

In 31 AD, the Passover High day occurred on Thursday, giving two Sabbaths for that week. Leviticus 23:6,7 may also show that there was a third Sabbath, the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread in between, making three Sabbaths in a row.

If Jesus was crucified on the day before the Passover, (which was Wednesday), died shortly after 3 PM, and was buried before sunset on Wednesday, then He arose just 72 hours later, before sunset of Saturday. Because that was on the regular Sabbath, no one was there to see it but the guards (who were sleeping) and the resurrection was not "discovered "till early the next morning. This is really the only way it could have happened without Jesus having told a lie.

Jesus was therefore crucified on the same day that the Passover lamb had been killed, probably at the same time of day. If this is true, and all the scriptures indicate that it was, then the resurrection was on the Sabbath in the late afternoon, not Sunday as we are led to believe.

In summary, the above four paragraphs show that the crucifixion occurred late Wednesday afternoon, and the resurrection was 72 hours later, on Saturday afternoon.

Interestingly, the year 1999 has the same day / date combination as 31 AD, with Passover eve falling on Wednesday evening.

What we call Easter (lshtar) is not really the resurrection day; it is but another pagan holiday, with most of the related traditions coming from the Occult. Easter Sunday sunrise services are just another form of sun worship disguised as Christianity.

God gives us His Holy Days in Leviticus 23. No other special days or celebrations are commanded in the Bible. (Do we do what the Bible says or not?)

Jeremiah 10:2 says "Learn not the way of the heathen." It looks like this scripture applies just as much to the traditions surrounding "Easter" as it does to those surrounding Christmas.

Read II Chronicles 7:14 again. If you are calling yourself a Christian, then God is calling you to a special kind of repentance. As Jesus says in Matthew 24:4 "Take heed that no man deceive you." Examining carefully every part of our lives, our beliefs and our traditions, means comparing them to what God actually says in His Word, and not to what our churches or our families tell us to do. When we see something wrong, we must be prepared to obey God, regardless of what others might say or feel.

May God give you a discernment and a deep appreciation for His Word and what it means, (and give you the courage to obey.)

All scripture references are given in love from the Authorized King James Version.

Supporting Thoughts by Steve Van Nattan, Editor-- Balaam's Ass Speaks

The following is taken from the Editor's book, Allah, Divine or Demonic. The Chapter is 23, where I discuss questions Muslims will ask the Christian witness. Thus, Question Five:

When was Jesus crucified?

ANSWER-

This is a masterful trap. If you say. "On Friday," you have had it my friend. Your Muslim friend will devour you. I know that the vast majority of Christians have just gone along with the old Roman Catholic Whore system with its Holy Week schedule. If you are a literalist, which I am, you must get this right, be willing to break with the majority who are too wimpy to stand for the truth, and make yourself a safe and biblical place to stand when this question is asked. If you cannot get this one right, your Muslim friend will assume that you prefer myth to fact.

Jesus was three days and three nights in the grave, just as Jonah was the same period time in the whale (It was a whale you know, Matthew 12:40). You must recall that the Jewish day went from sundown to sundown. This means that you cannot count Sunday, the first day of the week, when Jesus was seen in the garden, because it represents neither a complete night nor a day. Below is a chart of the crucifixion and resurrection which I suggest you memorize.

There are a number of texts that undergird this study, but the text from which the week of the resurrection is timed almost to the minute is found in Matthew 28:1, In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. They found the Lord alive, and this means that Sunday was NOT a day of His three days in the grave.

If Saturday was the last day, then He had to be dead and buried before sunset three nights earlier. Count it off. If Saturday night could be counted, then He would have been buried on Thursday, and then you don't have three days. Jesus Christ was dead and buried, before sundown, on Wednesday evening.

The reason that the Lord's supper was likely on Tuesday evening was because He was in trial and being crucified all day Wednesday. It is possible that the Lord's Supper was eaten after dark on Tuesday, which would actually be Wednesday by Jewish figuring. Did He celebrate the Passover? Yes, but a day early, which, I am told, was not uncommon where there was a conflict.

PASSOVER, FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD, THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS, WEDNESDAY CRUCIFIXION

Again, who made the mess that we have today? Answer: Old Mother Whore, The Roman Catholic Church, who wanted the days to have more ecclesiastical bite. "Holy Week" is holy first to God, then to Israel, and then to the Church. That week MUST be put into Old Testament context to be right, and you better know that your Muslim friend, with the help of the Mullahs, has been coached in this conundrum of Christendom. Please sit down and check me out using all of the Bible passages for this event. I don't have space to do a complete exegesis of it here.

Please think of these FACTS as you "Celebrate" all the manifestations of Satan this Easter Holiday. You will one day give an account for what you do with what you just learned. I have massive bibliography on this topic which I gathered while doing the book on Islam and the origins of Allah. You dare not mock at the heathen of this world if you continue to participate in their blasphemies.
