Christianity Today teaches teens that it's "normal"
to be confused about sexual feelings.

Billy Graham is the founder of Christianity Today. I dare you to go to
Christianity Today's website and show me where they take a solid Biblical stand
AGAINST homosexuality. You cannot! On their
main web page, there's a link titled
"Teens." On the Teens page, at the top left, is a hyperlink titled, "Hot
Topics." In this section, you'll find an article titled "Am I Gay?" At the
bottom of the "Am I Gay?" article you will find the following paragraph...
"becomingreal.org and freetobeme.com are websites from New Direction for Life Ministries that exist to answer your questions about same-sex attraction openly, honestly and with a Christian perspective. Through helpful Q&A and personal story sections, the sites give solid guidance, offer real answers and show that you aren't alone."
I visited the two website links provided above and was disgusted at what I found. Both sites are identical in their apostate message. Christianity Today (as read in the quote above) promises "...to answer your questions about same-sex attraction openly, honestly and with a Christian perspective."
Well, let's see just how honest and Christian their perspective really is? Since Christianity Today is referring teenagers to these two external websites for help...
I.
Go to the first website at www.becomingreal.org. On their main page, click on the "Answers" hyperlink. On this page is some very disturbing advice. Lets' look at just a few of the questions and answers:- "Question: If I think I might be gay or lesbian, shouldn't I try it out to see if I am?" Their answer to this question is that they "do NOT recommend trying it out." However, the information provided to the potentially homosexual teenager is frightening.
"Note: Some confusion about sexual feelings is normal, particularly in the early teen years when one is going through all the changes of puberty. A survey of 34,000 students in Minnesota found that 25% of students age 12 said they were "not sure" about their sexual orientation. By age 17, only 5% of the students were still "unsure". Almost all of those who had been unsure now felt they were heterosexual."
"Some confusion about sexual feelings is normal?" Whoa!!! You've got to be kidding. In all my years of growing up, I never once questioned my sexuality, or saw a male that appealed to me. What a big lie! It is ridiculous for anyone to claim that is is "NORMAL" for young people to experience CONFUSION ABOUT SEXUAL FEELINGS. It is not normal folks, it is SINFUL!!! There was no confusion about sexual feelings 50 years ago. Why? Because sin is everywhere today. America's moral values have plummeted. Christianity Today has gone so apostate that they even promote and sell R-rated movies, like the abominable SIN CITY through Amazon.com. Why in the name of decency would any professed "Christian" organization promote a place so vile and evil as Las Vegas?—a city infinitely worse than the Old Testament cities of Sodom and Gomorrah! And they also promote Harry's Potter's witchcraft! CT even recommends Pan's Labyrinth.
- "Question: Aren't you just a bunch of homophobes?" The following quote is from their answer...
"...There are also a lot of people who are attracted to their own sex but who would never consider themselves gay or lesbian. We are here for all those people and offer our support of their journey toward becoming the people they want to be."
That doesn't sound like much of a Biblical stand against homosexuality does it? What kind of Biblical perspective is that? "We are here for all those people and offer our support of their journey toward becoming the people they want to be." What? What if they want to be lesbians and queers! And you're going to help them? I'll give you a Biblical perspective right now from Leviticus 20:13, "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." Any questions? What is wrong with Christian people today? I'll tell you, they are hob-knobbing with the Devil's crowd. They are greedy and have sold their souls to making filthy lucre (money). They are carnal and have become choked by the cares and riches of this world. And, many professed "Christians" are imposters; NOT Christians at all, but are unsaved heathens.
Notice the words at the very bottom of their page, "expressing our views, talking about our lives and choices, respecting people who think and do differently." What? What are you people saying? Yes, we should respect people; but that doesn't mean to remain silent about open public sin. The Word of God commands us in Ephesians 5:11, "And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them."
Respecting people does not mean saying nothing about public sin. According to the philosophy being taught here, the Church at Corinth was doing the right thing to remain silent about open fornication in the church. The Apostle Paul said that fornication was "reported commonly" in their church, and he rebuked it (1st Corinthians 5:1-5).
We are supposed to expose homosexuals, and preach against their lifestyle, which is detrimental to society. Christianity Today would rather RESPECT them. Let me clarify, I do NOT believe we should be hateful or deliberately unkind to anyone; BUT, God commands every born again believer to take a stand against evil (Psalm 94:16; 97:10). Homosexuality is, without a doubt, a Satanic work of darkness. We must REPROVE such sinful acts. Christianity Today is mocking the name of Christ by refusing to take a Biblical stand against sin.
Also, carefully notice that the "Bible" is NOT even mentioned one time on their question&answers page. They wouldn't want to offend anyone with the Bible, so they avoid it completely. Not one Verse of Scripture is quoted. Talk about apostasy! How can you give "Biblical" advice to teens without using the Bible? What a bunch of phonies!
- "Question: If I feel I really am gay or lesbian, does that mean I just have to learn to live with it and like it?" In their answer, they say...
"You can choose to believe that gay or lesbian is who you really are, and live your life accordingly. There are many people who have made that choice."
This is such a lame answer! It gives every impression that it's ok to be homosexual. It is abundantly clear from the entire website (which Christianity Today refers it's teens to) that they're afraid to speak the truth against homosexuality. Do you think for one second that homosexuals don't know this? They do, and they're using it to their advantage. So many "Christian" businesses are dipping their sails, becoming gay-friendly, to increase their sales. Christianity Today and it's associated websites are making it much easier for lesbians and homosexuals. If God's children don't preach against sin and evil, they will increase. The GREAT LIE of the Devil is that if we're NICE to wicked sinners, then they will come to Jesus for salvation. Nothing could be further from the truth. If a person won't come to Christ unless we stop preaching against sin, then they're not really coming to Christ; but, to religion.
To be saved, a person must acknowledge their sinfulness to God, and then believe upon the Lord Jesus Christ to be forgiven of those sins. If we don't preach against sin, then how are people going to get saved? People are coming to religion; but, they are not getting saved. So many people FALSELY think they are going to Heaven because they have religion. The issue of sin MUST be addressed. If our preaching turns them away from the Truth, they they don't want Christ (John 3:20). This weak-kneed generation of professed Christians, that dips it's sails and is afraid to preach against sin, is doing much harm to the cause of Christ. There are tens-of-millions of people coming to religion, making commitments to Christ, turning over new leafs, finding spirituality, and joining churches; BUT, they have never addressed the issue of sin in their lives, that they are wicked sinners, bound for Hell if they don't get those sins forgiven in Christ Jesus.

Go to the second website at www.freetobeme.com. On their main page, click on "I Think I'm Lesbian." They have a FAQ with advice for teenage girls who think they may be a homosexual:- "I have some feelings of attraction to other girls." Here's a quote from their advice...
"If you are an older teen and you've experienced feelings of sexual attraction to other girls for a long time, you may find the next question helpful. Whatever stage you're at, it's important to learn to like who you are -- you are valuable and special. You as a person are much more than your sexual feelings. It is sometimes hard to find friends who will respect you, but they will come"
Talk about compromise... "Whatever stage you're at, it's important to learn to like who you are..." We're talking about stages of sexuality here. Is this "honest and Biblical advice" for teens, as promised by Christianity Today? Are we supposedly like our sinful flesh? Our sinful desires? What did the Apostle Paul have to say about himself, "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?" (Romans 7:24). The correct advice for teens is that any thoughts of homosexuality are sinful, and need to be immediately suppressed by "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ" (2nd Corinthians 10:5). It's no different than any other sin. If we feel like punching someone in the mouth, we need to suppress that thought with the Word of God, with a Verse such as Ephesians 4:31,32. If we are tempted to get even with someone who has hurt us, then we need to think about Romans 12:19. And if a person has homosexual tendencies, then they need to memorize Romans Chapter one, and think of it when the temptation comes.
Tragically, ChristianityToday refuses to teach THE TRUTH to young people, i.e., that thoughts of homosexuality are wrong (the same as with adultery, Matthew 5:28). Instead, they lead young people to "like (accept) who they are, without defining "who they are." Yes, we are special, the object of God's wondrous love (John 3:16; 1st John 3:16); BUT, we are also dirty-rotten sinners and should feel guilty and bad about our sins. Homosexuality is something to be ashamed of. Thoughts of homosexuality should be IDENTIFIED as sinful, and should be dealt with like any other sinful temptation, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." No one can blame lesbianism, homosexuality, pedophilia, adultery, fornication, or any other immorality on "nature" or "sexual orientation." The Word of God condemns all such evil sins of immorality. The people who commit these horrible sins do so for one reason, and one reason only—they want to!

What??? "Some same-sex activity or experimentation does not automatically mean that you are gay." You've got to be kidding! By any modern dictionary definition of the word "homosexual," you are WRONG! By the way, I think it's sickening that a once decent word, "gay," has been stolen by the queers, just as they have God's rainbow, to represent their vile filth and wickedness. They need to be called homosexuals, or Sodomites. For two people of the SAME sex to do ANYTHING of a sexual nature IS GAY TO THE CORE!!! Are you going to tell me that "some same-sex activity" between two 17-years old young men doesn't mean they're homosexuals? God says they ARE!!! (Romans Chapter one). Again, the people propagating that garbage (Christianity Today) to teenagers don't provide even one Scripture.
Christianity Today is straddling-the-fence on the issue. The advice which Christianity Today provides to teens is neither "honest" nor "Biblical." Christianity Today would lead young people to ACCEPT feelings of homosexuality as "normal"; rather than tell them the Biblical Truth that such homosexual feelings are SINFUL, and need to be dealt with as such. Christianity Today, in failing to present the Word of God to teenagers, dooms them to aimlessly wander throughout life without the truth. You are loved teenager; but, not by the folks at Christianity Today. If they loved you, they would do what I just did—tell you the Truth from God's Word.
