Exodus 20:4-5 (the second of the Ten Commandments) couldn't be any more clear... "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God..." Did you see that word... JEALOUS? Do you think God isn't jealous when you think about movie actors and rock stars all day? But you say, "Wait a minute, I don't worship any celebrities as a god."
Oh really? Women all across America are rushing to get plastic surgery and breast implants so they can look like their favorite celebrity on TV. Everything from the clothes people wear to the cars they drive nowadays are affected by Hollywood. People's minds are absolutely saturated with celebrities! I'd call that idol worship.
People's minds are consumed with celebrities of all sorts, from music to movies. Does anyone care about the Word of God anymore? A lot of people SAY they care about God, but then hypocritically despise, reject, and loathe God's Word... Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me" (Mark 7:6). Americans are living in denial.

Everybody seems to have heard the phrase “Thou shall not make unto thee any graven image” (The Bible, Exodus, 20, 4). Lots of people are in agreement on the point. An idol is frequently associated either with a gilded statue of some deity or a sweaty rock star rushing about the stage in a frenzy. The characters are useless in terms of practical application. Some peculiarities of the meaning of the word “idol” enable true idols to stay in the shade.
The point is that not only certain persons can be seen as idols; money can be frequently idolized too. The end can assume the role of a gilded statute (the end effortlessly justifies the means in this case). In other words, an idol is bigger than a certain person, object or phenomenon. An idol has more to do with our attitude toward things we idolize.
For example, there is a girl who treats the personality and work of Marilyn Monroe with great admiration. The girl believes the actress was a beautiful woman, a clever one, the epitome of femininity. Then the girl starts taking radical steps in order to look like the woman of her dreams. She peroxides her hair. Dying one’s hair is not a blameworthy act; lots of teenage girls often change the color of their hair. Some time later the girl makes an appointment in a plastic surgery clinic. She wants to have the shape of her lips changed so that she may look even more like her favorite actress. Yet again, there is nothing reprehensible about this case of plastic surgery (no matter what we think about plastic surgery). The girl’s attitude toward her actions is more important.
Time to imitate
Calling any imitation acts an evil thing would be a rather ill-considered judgment. The imitating abilities form the cornerstone of many educational methods. For example, young children learn to speak by mimicking human speech. They also imitate the behavioral reactions of adults. You can spend hours trying to get your child to understand the importance of following the traffic light rules. But your child will never get the message if you never wait for the green light while crossing a road.
Imitation can be useful to us at an older age too. For example, we can develop certain skills only by imitating (consciously or not) ways and techniques used by our more experienced colleagues. Self-made celebrities often point out in their memoirs that they learned a lot from their superiors in terms of professional behavior, conflict management etc.
At the end of the day, we can save up a great deal of time by dealing with a situation in the same way as our more skillful friends and colleagues do under the circumstances.
Modern fashion industry is largely about picking the right trends for imitation purposes. Therefore, we should not be surprised to see numerous 15-year-old girls wearing stylish clothes. The girls simply take the opportunity of finding examples to imitate in the glossy magazines. The most important question is why a person should take somebody or something as an example.
Let us get back to that would-be icon Marilyn Monroe who applied for plastic surgery to enhance the similarities between herself and her idol. An increasingly large number of young and middle-aged people tend to focus on appearances modeled their idols. The people seem to believe subconsciously that they can luck out and make some dramatic changes for the better once they start looking like their idols.
In other words, they believe that can change the “contents” after changing their appearances. They begin thinking about having their looks changed even more if a long-awaited stroke of luck keeps waiting in the wings.
Thus many a person forms dependence on a fallacious conclusion that says “the more you look like your idol, the luckier you are.” A person shirks from assuming responsibility for his life and shifts it on to somebody else. The above is the main negative result of worshipping somebody blindly.
Celebrity Worship Syndrome
Celebrity worship has been identified as one of the most common ways of idolatry these days. Researchers report that about one third of people (thanks to daily gossip columns in the tabloids and ubiquitous celebrity news in the media) suffer from Celebrity Worship Syndrome, an actual syndrome that can become obsessional, replacing conventional relations.
There are three stages of the disease.
A fan shows a lively interest in a celebrity at the first stage. Perhaps a fan’s interest gets far too lively since the person becomes addicted to information on his idol’s private life. He begins to avidly pay attention to all kinds of news relating to his idol e.g. wardrobe items or details of the latest fall-out between the star and his producer etc. Fans feel anxiety and tension and may develop depression if the flow of information on a star’s life runs dry temporarily.
About 10% of enthusiastic fans reach the second stage as the syndrome takes shape and people become confident that they form some kind of a “special relationship” with their idols. Manifestations vary. A fan may be certain of his or her close supernatural ties with the idol or his relation by blood.
Fans may suffer from obsessional conditions at the third stage of the syndrome. Criminal behavior on the part of a fan cannot be ruled out in some cases.
According to researchers, people who need direction or a boost to their self-esteem and confidence are most susceptible to Celebrity Worship Syndrome. Such emotionally unstable people may take any charismatic personality as a guru or teacher.
Americans are idol worshippers! Although the above article and Wikipedia defines CWS (Celebrity Worship Syndrome) as a psychological "disease," it is not a disease! Did you know that a doctor could lose his license for diagnosing you as a sinner? Even the most horrible of sins are categorized today as a mere "sickness." Let the truth be known! Worshipping celebrities is a WICKED SIN! John 12:43 states, "For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God." Sodom, as wicked as that city was, didn't have all the idols which Americans worship today.
America devoutly worships it's music idols, secular AND religious! Interestingly, the Bible never tells us to listen to other people sing; rather, it advises us to sing melodies in OUR HEARTS TO THE LORD. When you go buy a music CD, the singers are singing TO YOU. Think about it... "Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:19). The average person listens to the same CD or cassette hundreds of times, if not thousands, never singing a word to the Lord from their own heart. I sincerely believe that God hates prerecorded music for this reason. Have you been ignoring God for years? Have you been inoculated from Christianity? It's time for America to turn towards God in repentance.

Nearly 60 nations are governed by the Jewish Anti-Defamation League’s hate crime laws. In all of them except America, ADL’s definition of a hate crime is to publicly "express hatred or contempt against members of an identifiable group.”
This perfectly describes Jewish Disney/ABC’s new sitcom Good Christian Bitches. (GCB) Few Christians would deny it holds up our "identifiable group" to contempt. Disney/ABC is headed by Robert Iger, Jewish. GCB’s executive producer is Darren Star, a Jewish homosexual. It is directed by Alan Poul, also a Jewish homosexual and is produced by Aaron Kaplan, Jewish.
I watched the first episode and found this sitcom fulfills all of ADL’s criteria of a hate crime: it is motivated by bias against Christianity. It negatively stereotypes Christians. It expresses intolerance by portraying Bible-belt Christianity derisively. It marginalizes evangelical Christians as a group that is “other" than the mainstream: ridiculous and contemptible for its hypocrisy, crass materialism, vindictiveness and closet immorality.
The term “Jewish American princess” or “JAP” has become familiar in popular culture to denote the Jewish equivalent of the women caricatured on ABC’s sitcom: catty, materialistic, shallow, backbiting. But you will never see a primetime sitcom about them. In 2004, Urban Outfitters created a t-shirt that said, “Everyone loves a Jewish girl,” decorated with dollar signs and purses. The Anti-Defamation League immediately cried “anti-Semitism!” and the t-shirt was pulled. This was a t-shirt. Imagine the response if it were a primetime TV sitcom starring popular actors and actresses! Yet since GCB is about Christian women, not a word is said.

Isn't that terrible? The director and producers of GCB are Jewish. Walt Disney produced this shameful show, which portrays Christian women as sluts, gossipers, deceivers, sex engines and criminals. I love Jewish people, and there are many Christian Jews today; however, there is also a small group of wealthy elite Jews who hate Jesus Christ and blaspheme Him every chance they get.
Consider what Jewish comedian Sarah Silverman says about Jesus Christ. So many Jews today hate Jesus Christ! Hollywood is Jewish owned and blasphemes the holy name of Jesus in every film they produce. Hollywood is the pedophile capital of America! Hollywood is more homosexual than San Francisco!
Many Jews today are arrogant, just as they were back in Jesus' time. The

today reject Jesus as their Messiah, blatantly. It is hard to understand the
Jew's sinful pride and rebellion, but their forefathers murdered Jesus and said,
“His blood be on us, and on our children” (Matthew 27:25). Their attitude hasn't
changed. Decent Jewish people ought to be ashamed of what some of their own in
Hollywood and Walt Disney are doing toward Christians. Only Christianity is
being attacked and defamed. They're not attacking Buddhists, Muslims or Jews;

America is saturated with sinful pride! We have become a nation of liars, of
people breaking their marriage vows and quitting. Shameful! Pride blinds
people... "The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in

shall bring me down to the ground?" (Obadiah 1:3). Our days are number as a free
nation.
Americans have a lofty, stiffnecked, attitude of invincibility, thinking their government leaders will preserve the American way of life. Haven't you noticed lately that our nation is fast deteriorating morally, economically, nationally and educationally—to name just a few? The American dream is fast coming to an end.
Without borders there is no country! Open borders have destroyed our national sovereignty, bankrupted our hospitals, forced bi-lingual classes into all our schools, overburdened the welfare system, filled our prisons, and taken American jobs. Illegals boast of a false sense of pride, reaping where they did not sow in a Socialist nation that punishes hard-working American citizens.
We haven't seen nothing yet. TSA are now sticking their hands down citizen's pants, blouses and skirts to dehumanize the public. Such tyranny and fascist-style oppression will become commonplace at every public meeting place—ballgames, concerts, shopping malls, trains and buses, entering any state or government building, et cetera. They're breaking the will of the people: the real purpose of body scanners. National ID Cards are right around the corner... PAPERS PLEASE! Proverbs 16:18 WARNS... The homosexual community are a Godless and malicious bunch. They WILL eventually be successful in passing laws that prosecute Christians for taking a Biblical public stand against homosexuality. Homosexuals are deceivers, just as Satan is a horrible deceiver and liar (John 10:10; Matthew 7:15).
The fraudulent Homosexual Agenda is being packaged in gift-wrap and presented to the American public as an innocent thing, allegedly family-oriented (same-sex marriages and adopting children); but the end result will be millions of sexually molested children. Homosexuality is rooted in vile affections the Bible says (Romans 1:26), which are synonymous with all sexual sins. Lesbian and homosexual relationships go far beyond the norm of heterosexuals relationships, entering into the realm of abnormal (Romans 1:27) and dishonorable (Romans 1:24). Courts will be instructed to conceal homosexual molestations in same-sex marriages, in compliance with anti-hate speech laws. They wouldn't want the public to know the truth about homosexuals, that is, that they are commonly also pedophiles and pederasts.
America has incrementally, a little here and a little there, degenerated into the immoral mess it is today...

Notice the biggest and foremost words on the banner above... "PRIDE IN OURSELVES." This is not Biblical Christianity. Sinful pride, that causes people to disobey the Bible, has no place in the life of a Christian. Homosexuality is rooted in sinful pride.

God's precious love is being exploited to defend evil homosexual rights. This is what Romans 1:25 means when it says that the wicked change the truth of God into a lie. Lesbians and homosexuals are trying to deceive the masses into accepting their Homosexual Agenda in the name of love; but it is lust, which the Bible calls vile affections in Romans 1:26.
Homosexuality is a morally reprehensible sin, which received capital punishment in the Old Testament (Leviticus 20:13). Whereas homosexuals today are claiming “a right” to commit such wickedness; God hated the sin enough to issue a death penalty (just as God did for adultery and other sins, even youthful rebellion). God doesn't take rebellion lightly (1st Samuel 15:23).
I've noticed a common characteristic about lesbians and homosexuals (besides the sexually degenerate traits)—they all BLASPHEME God. They all show irreverence for that which is sacred and holy. They smirk, laugh and joke about the things of God. Look no further than perverted Late Night TV as proof of what I say. Everything's a joke to them when they are amongst each other. Many homosexuals are fond of Aleister Crowley (a deranged bi-sexual who professed to be the wickedest man in the world), whose satanic philosophy is the mantra of occultists, Satanists and sexual degenerates worldwide... 'Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.' The Beatles put Crowley's face on their Sgt. Peppers album cover as one of their heroes. They were going to put Hitler's face too, but knew the public would recognize him. The Beatles, like Crowley, like all Rock 'N' Roll singers, like homosexuals are all sexual degenerates!!!

SELF and PRIDE are two dangerous words in the Christian life. Where will all this apostasy lead? Surely, the Antichrist will have the world's masses eating out of the palm-of-his-hand when he comes (2nd Thessalonians 2:9-10). People today are ignorantly being conditioned for Satan. Unbelievably, many professed Christians singers are coming-out-of-the-closet and announcing that they're openly homosexual. The entire music INDUSTRY is owned and controlled by satanists and Luciferian-worshipping occultists.
The sinister global elite have all the money and own all the television networks, Hollywood studies, mainstream news outlets, and the music and video game industries. Remember, Satan is the god of this world (2nd Corinthians 4:4), and as such he needs a way to control the world. This is accomplished by a pyramid of power, a chain of command flowing from the tiny elite top level down to the widespread pawns on the bottom. Through The Council On Foreign Relations (CFR), Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission, the United Nations, World Bank, and other decision-making and financial groups these power elite control the world. The top executives of every major corporation in the world are connected, if not direct members, of the CFR. This is how Satan controls the world.
What I just shared with you is the easy part to grasp, for you would not believe the truth about the type of wicked people who control the world. They are monsters! They are all members of various occult groups, including high-level Freemasons, Bohemian Grove, Skull and Bones, Rosicrucians, Knights Templar, Order of Golden Dawn, et cetera. Although they fight amongst each other (just as all groups do), they share a common allegiance to Lucifer, the Prince of Darkness...

Most of the people in the United States are stiffnecked, filled with sinful pride, and you can't tell them anything these days. Despite Sodom's wickedness, Jesus said in Matthew 11:23 that Sodom would have repented had they seen the power of God working as Capernaum did. How much more guilty, and without excuse, are American's today! We are in serious trouble with God. It doesn't surprise me that the Tribulation Period is going to follow these times of woeful wickedness. Truly, we are living in the last days, and the Lord's return mustn't be far away. Even so, come Lord Jesus!
